The Hideaway is located at the foot of the Lubéron hills in Provence in a town dubbed the “ Provencal Venice “ which used to be the summer residence of the popes. In an ancient house at the center of the town the charming and peaceful first floor flat looks out on its own private courtyard.
The town boasts of a typically Provencal market (on thursdays and sundays), 350 antique dealers, canoe rides, a swimming pool, a golf course, numerous cultural events, a museum dedicated to the poet René Char, famous antique fairs and a floating market.
All these, as well as a local gourmet tradition make the town an exceptional stop that cannot be missed.
The property is within a half hour drive from, all the famous hilltop villages of the Lubéron such as Gordes, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Lacoste, les Baux de Provence, etc…
Not to be missed is the medieval city of Avignon with its Palais des Papes.
At a one hour’s drive, you will reach the sea at Marseille, its isles and “calanques” “its famous bouillabaisse (a specialty of fish soup), Montpellier, Nîmes, la Camargue, Aix en-Provence.

It houses 4 people (96 square meters) with its two bedrooms ( one with a 1,80 m double bed. One with twin beds), a sitting room, a kitchen with a dining area , a hall, a bathroom with a bath , another one with a shower, a separate WC .
Its looks out on a charming patio with its palm tree and flowers, its barbecue for al-fresco dinners…
Central heating (extra 70€ for fuel)electricity is included in the rent as well as the bed clothes and towels.
The flat is equipped with a baby cot and a high chair, a colour TV, DVD, radio, CD player, wifi , washing- machine, dish -washer, freezer and micro-wave oven.
The courtyard is enclosed and contains a fountain and outdoor furniture.
Street parking, a guarded parking lot at 500m , 2 bikes are available for guests.
